This Senska (spray) foam fire extinguisher is versatile in many situations. It is very user-friendly and highly effective. When used for extinguishing, it causes minimal collateral damage. The extinguisher has a very good fire-fighting capacity for solid materials (Class A). It is also well-suited for liquid fires (Class B) and oil/grease fires (Class F). This Senska foam fire extinguisher is therefore perfect for places such as catering businesses or other environments where, for example, a kitchen/fryer is present.
The Senska foam fire extinguisher operates under constant pressure. Because it is permanently pressurized, the device is always ready for immediate use. This extinguisher is constructed from a steel cylinder with a polyester resin coating on the outside and a flexible coating on the inside. The special nozzle has a spray pattern that gives the extinguisher maximum extinguishing power. After removing the safety pin, the foam spray can be activated or stopped by squeezing or releasing the squeeze valve. The extinguishing valve is equipped with a pressure indicator with an auto valve behind the pressure gauge. This measures the pressure. The extinguishing foam is under nitrogen pressure in the cylinder. Our extinguisher meets all safety requirements.
The Senska foam fire extinguishers are provided with a type approval and are manufactured according to EN3 (P.E.D). Additionally, the extinguishers are marked with the CE certification and have been approved by the shipping inspection (Marine Equipment Directive).
Foam extinguishing agent is a mixture of water, foaming agent, and ambient air. Foam has low thermal conductivity, which isolates fuel that has not yet ignited and then protects it from heat. The foam from the Senska foam fire extinguisher causes minimal collateral damage. In the case of solid material fires (Class A), the foam penetrates the burning material, quickly cooling it and extinguishing the fire. For burning liquids (Class B), a kind of "film layer" is formed, preventing oxygen from being admitted. This extinguisher is also highly effective for oil/grease fires (Class F).
